| Baseball & Softball lessons are
for boys and girls ages 7 and up. Proper hitting, throwing,
pitching, catching and fielding is taught to boys and girls and programs
can be customized for individuals. All sessions are fast paced, hands on and
informative. Group sessions are $20 per hour and one-on-one sessions
are $25. Also when you buy your 10th session, the 11th session
is free! Devin Pollick and Drew Linder will provide training using their vast baseball
experience, knowledge and passion for the game.
Devin Pollick was an All-Ohio selection at St. Joseph Central Catholic High School and went on to play college baseball at Heidelberg University. Devin played four years at Heidelberg, earning All-Region and All-District honors. He is also 2nd in career triples. Along with providing hitting, pitching and defensive lessons, Devin is the Recreation Coordinator at the Fremont Recreation Department. There, he is in charge of creating , running, and organizing youth sports and leisure programs.
Drew was a pitcher for two years
at Owens Community College before playing two years at Concordia
University. In 2006 he was recognized as the most improved
player at Owens and was first team WHAL in 2008 at Concordia
University. Drew currently attends BGSU and is studying physical
education. |
Pitching lessons for girls of
all ages are taught by Jamie Wonderly and Tami Summers. Jamie pitched for
Gibsonburg High School from 2000-2003 where she was a state
champ and All-Ohio selection from 2001-2003. During her high
school career, she was 2nd in the state in career shutouts (65),
career wins (95), and strikeouts (1264). She also threw 14 no
hitters. Jamie then played 4 years at Division I Butler
University leading her team in games started, complete games and
innings pitched in 2007. Group sessions are $25 per hour and
one-on-one sessions are $40.
Tami has been instructing for more than 20 years. She played at
the University of Toledo where she still holds virtually every
pitching record. She was undefeated on the Italian National
Softball team in 1990 and was invited to try out for the US
National team in 1994. She served as head softball coach for the
University of Toledo and as an assistant coach at Bowling Green
State University. Tami is available for many different services
such as private instruction, speed workouts. clinics and
